Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on wallet.mallow.art (the "Site") and within the mallow wallet mobile application (the "App"), both operated by mallow labs LLC.

wallet.mallow.art uses no cookies

The Site is a static documentation site. It does not use cookies, local storage, session storage, or any third-party analytics. It does not load any third-party scripts. No tracking technologies (web beacons, tracking pixels, fingerprinting) are used.

The only data your browser exchanges with the Site is the standard HTTP request data needed to deliver the page (your IP address, user agent, and the URL you requested), which is processed by Cloudflare as our hosting provider. Cloudflare may retain short-term operational logs for security and abuse prevention; see Cloudflare's privacy practices for details.

The mallow wallet app

The App does not use HTTP cookies. It does, however, store data locally on your device that is necessary for the wallet to function:

  • Your encrypted seed phrase and derived keys, in iOS Keychain or Android Keystore
  • Your PIN settings, biometric preferences, and chain toggles
  • App preferences such as theme, display currency, and your analytics choice
  • A random identifier the App creates for itself, used to count how many people use a feature. It is not an advertising identifier, and it is gone when you uninstall
  • Product analytics records waiting to be sent, if you are offline. These are thrown away rather than sent if you opt out first

The App also uses your device's push notification token (issued by Apple or Google) so it can deliver push notifications you opt into.

None of this is shared with advertisers or ad networks, and none of it is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The App does send product-analytics and diagnostics data to processors acting on our instructions — Mixpanel for analytics, and our own self-hosted error tracker for diagnostics. Both stop when you turn off "Share usage analytics" in Settings → Security & Privacy. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is collected and the full list of third-party services the App contacts.

Some links in the App open in your device's browser rather than in the App — block explorers, mallow.art, and social links on profiles. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your choices

  • Site cookies: there are none to manage.
  • Analytics and diagnostics: turn off "Share usage analytics" in Settings → Security & Privacy. This takes effect immediately.
  • App data: clear by uninstalling the App. This is irreversible — if you have not backed up your seed phrase, you will lose access to your wallet.
  • Push notifications: revoke at any time in your device's settings.

Changes

If we begin using cookies on the Site or in the App in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide a consent prompt.
